Jeannette Bowen Scholarship Application
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated will select at least one high school senior student female who demonstrates exemplary academic achievement, a propensity for service, and noteworthy leadership to be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $1,920. Each scholarship will be a one-time only award.
The application must be recieved by April 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM. The Jeanette Bowen Scholarship winner will be notified via a phone call and an email no later than April 14, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
The awardee must be available to receive the scholarship at the Massachusetts State Conference in Springfield, MA on April 26, 2025. The awardee must also submit a professional senior portrait for the sorority’s website and conference report.

Must be a graduating high school senior attending a school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Submit a resume, professional headshot, and a 200-word leadership essay (see “ESSAY” section of application packet).

Include at least one letter of recommendation highlighting academics, leadership, and community service.

Submit an official high school transcript with a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0.

Guidance counselor or school administrator must email the official transcript to ma.edu.coor@gmail.com.

Complete the scholarship application and upload all required documents via the "SCHOLARSHIP" page of Mass Zeta website.

Be sure to include your resume and this completed application, letter of recommendation and all required documents must be attached in your packet submission. The application deadline is April 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Scholarship awardees will be notified by phone and email by April 14, 2025.
